Titles can be misleading although also can be truthful. We did indeed win our first Prizes - Paul as Helm, Me as crew. We came as usual last but everyone who took part was given a cup for taking part - so indeed it was our first prize but not for coming in first.
Sarah our duty officer had decided to give us a different race. Instead of up and down the river, a zigzag course upstream and straight back.
