To turn the Whaly into a camera boat will take a bit of work. To film in all conditions we need to create an enclosed cabin - this involves extending the Bimini to give some extra weather protection and create enclosed sides. This can't happen until the guard rails are in place and we are waiting for Whaly to supply these.
Paul is designing and building some feet for the tripods and the Jib so that these can be held firmly in the boat.
Clamps have to be made, designed or bought to hold and operate the cameras on the light bar.

The boat got its name Whaly Coyote. Named by Paul, he went through many appropriate names Whaly of a Good time and others but we all liked Whaly Coyote named after a Loony Tunes favourite the old Wile -Y Coyote. Perhaps we will add a logo later We felt that we needed an appropriate font and this one looked about right for the character.
