Positioning cameras on the boat to get the best shots is only one part of the filming. Getting shots from the camera boat and from the banks of the river can get good whole boat action shots.

The next best way of getting the sailing action rather than using cameras on the boat is to use a chase boat. Here we are using a Dory but soon we will be using our own dedicated camera boat. Then we can install a jib as well as many cameras and get some external action shots.
