The invitation said dress up as in the 1920's sailing. So Ros Paul and I did. Unfortunately no one else did at the club, but our outfits were admired by all and many wishes that they had done the same.
The party started with the traditional glasses of G&T flowing.
There had to be a speech about the 140 years then we followed this by loads of photographs celebrating the history of the club first projected inside then onto the outside of the Marquee.
