It wasn’t a warm or bright morning. In fact, there was no wind, so nobody wanted to sail, so we took out our Electric Whaly and our friend Guy took out his newly acquired boat ready to restore. With a plank of wood for a seat and a car battery powering the motor, we took off at 1.5 mph up the river to test Guy’s boat. We were there in case he needed a tow back.
Guy wanted to test out the boat.
It Floated.
The motor worked.
It could do 3mph flat out up stream.
The river was very quiet. We only saw one other boat, so we motored down to Cookham and Back
