A few weeks ago, Ros and I entered a competition to win a Sunsail holiday for two. Amazingly, we won, and today we met Lucy at the show, who had pulled our names out of the hat.
So in a few weeks' time Ros and I are flying to Croatia to pick up a 47ft sailing yacht, and we are meeting the crew of Sailing Fair Isle, a great YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/@svfairisle on sailing and visiting exotic places They want to make a film about starting to sail a yacht and are intending to make a film of us on a Sunsail Competant Crew Course and another chap John and maybe his daughter learning to become Day Skippers.
At the Dinghy Show we met with Lucy who had drawn our names out of the hat to win the competition. She had recently been on the course and gave us lots of information about it.. So I have bought the RYA book for the course and we will start the prep, for our Holiday in Croatia in April.
