In the morning the wind was getting up, six boats entered the ace. We were slow (as usually) at getting the main sail up so started after the rest and failed to notice it was an angled start so had to start again. the wind was increasing making our journey upstream difficult and as we rounded the mark a lightning capsized, and Paul struggle to get us back to the pontoon. In the next race only two boats competed as the other members decided it was way to windy to go out - with the gusts coming from all directions. Only two boats braved the afternoon wind - two national 12s who went on a very short course head to head.
