We left early to get to the Upper Thames Sailing Club by 9:00am so we could get the safety boat out ready to the duties. But we were told that not many might be coming because it was a windy day and that we could take our powerboat out.
There was lots of activity going on at the club, building the new Rater pontoon and in the car park a stump was busily being ground away.
We set out in the Whaly to get rid of some of the branches on the tree that is caught on the Rater bouys
