Saturday was of those busy days at the club:. Lots of people being out on the water for some fun sailing, Bar Training and OOD Training and a new slipway being built. The Water frontage was mapped out, and a lot of IT work was going on behind the scenes.
OOD Report
The weather was perfect for fun sailing, today. The sun was shining and there was enough wind to cause some excitement. It was amazing to see the club buzzing with activity and to see two new members, sailing club boats (for the first time). A vintage Merlin did some tuning runs, and two cadets put the fun in fun sailing! The Rater crew were hard at work, on the ramp. The bar kept the thirsty sailors watered.

The second run through of the course this time, my wife and other son were having a go at learning what to do as an officer of the day. Whilst they were doing that I was busy learning how to operate the bar.
The new Rater slip way was under construction, with some members working hard to create a new custom slipway
Quite a few of the members were out on the water in ideal conditions
I don't have a towbar so Guy kindly offered to help so we worked out how to get a topper on a merlin trailer. so whilst the others sailed we worked out how to get the boat ready.
