I lovely day for sailing. A wayfarer out with a Merlin Rocket. A magical Halo appeared in the sky, formed not by rain, but by ice crystals in the upper atmosphere. Wednesdays out on the Water, with a few people enjoying the weather and us in the Whaly taking some photographs until Guy decided to Capsize.
The wind changed and Lady Luck a Merlin, capsized throwing Guy her Helm into teh water. We were nearby taking some photo, so we went over to Guy to see if he needed any assistance whilst the Safety Boat arrived. Guy manged to right the boat head to wind but the merlin was full of water and when he tried to get back in the boat capsized again because it was so low in the water. So Guy climbed into the Safety boat and the Merlin was recovered to the pontoon.
Only two boats out, a Wayfarer and a Merlin Rocket, and us taking some phots.
With a few team members a mast went up quickly and easily.
