Getting the Boat Park in better shape

One of the worst part of the Upper Thames Sailing Club is the boat Park. It is not very level and there are some huge stones sticking up which makes it very difficult to move the boats. Well that is all about to change. Armed with a small digger , Chris the Treasurer took charge of a small mechanical digger and set about levelling the park.

Making a Start

We cleared the rubbish and some of the largest stones and started on levvelling  the park whilst the hard core was delivered

Spreading the Hard Core

Whilst I strimmed much of the park cutting down half metre high weeds, the others got on with levelling and spreading some of the hard core

Alex wanted to sail so Paul took out the Safety Boat with John.
