Sally is an Advanced Powerboat instructor. The throttle lines had to be moved so that they were in the centre of the boat so that an instructor could easily reach the controls during lessons. Sally was the obvious choice of person to test he power boat and the look on her face as she tested the boat. We tried full power backwards doing a doughnut, slow back, stop slow forwards and full speed forward around a couple of buoys to see if the controls worked ok. Which they did. The grab rail needed to be removed to let the throttle to be moved.
Nearly everyone had a go at coping with the throttle on the other side.. We noted that smaller people struggled reaching the controls.
