Much like the River Thames for the past week. Not much wind to speak of - but there was more than Sunday - so Paul ventured on the water in a Wayfarer and I did some speed trials for e-propulsion in the Whaley ably assisted by Peter at the Helm.
I didn't need wind for this. Set the power at so many Watts and record the speed up and down stream. Then we had the sail boats out on the water.
The lack of wind made for excellent reflections in the water - only spoiled by the grey skies and the drizzle and light rain. So whilst Paul and Guy tried to sail around the triangular course - they did do it albeit very slowly, Sally took Alex out in the powerboat teaching her some of the skills whilst I took Peter out in the Whaley and we learnt some things that you can do in an electric boat.
